Important Information
Disclaimer
This Disclaimer explains important limitations concerning the use of Briely as a credential tracking, reminder, document organization, audit-record, and public verification platform.
Last updated: July 15, 2026
Purpose of Briely
The Briely platform is provided by CertLock Technologies LLC, operating as Briely, as a software tool to help individuals and organizations organize certifications, licenses, credentials, expiration dates, renewal information, supporting documents, reminders, audit records, and selected public verification information.
Briely provides organizational technology. It does not replace professional judgment, official records, direct confirmation from an issuing authority, or independent compliance procedures.
No Legal, Regulatory, Tax, Employment, or Professional Advice
Briely does not provide legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, employment, human-resources, licensing, safety, insurance, or compliance advice. Information displayed through the platform, website, guides, reminders, resource pages, and communications is provided for general informational and organizational purposes only.
You are responsible for determining which laws, regulations, licenses, certifications, training requirements, renewal deadlines, recordkeeping obligations, notices, and industry rules apply to you, your organization, and your workforce.
Consult a qualified attorney, accountant, licensing authority, regulator, insurer, safety professional, or other appropriate advisor when professional guidance is required.
No Guarantee of Compliance
Using Briely does not guarantee compliance with any law, regulation, licensing rule, employment requirement, safety standard, contract, audit standard, insurance condition, or industry obligation.
Briely does not determine whether a credential is legally required, whether a qualification is sufficient for a particular role, or whether an organization has completed every action necessary to remain compliant.
Briely should be used as one part of your broader credential, renewal, documentation, and compliance process—not as your sole compliance control.
Customer-Entered Information
Credential records, employee details, dates, notes, documents, status information, and other Customer Data are entered and maintained by account owners, administrators, or other authorized users.
Briely does not independently review every record for accuracy, completeness, authenticity, legality, or continued validity. The account owner and authorized users are responsible for reviewing, correcting, updating, and lawfully maintaining the information they place in the platform.
Errors in Customer Data—including incorrect expiration dates, contact information, credential numbers, status selections, or uploaded documents—may cause reminders, reports, and displayed information to be incomplete or inaccurate.
No Independent Credential Authentication
Briely is not a background-check service, licensing board, certification provider, government registry, or primary-source verification provider.
Unless Briely expressly states otherwise for a specific feature, Briely does not independently contact government agencies, licensing boards, schools, employers, certification issuers, training organizations, or other authorities to authenticate each credential.
Before making an employment, contracting, safety, licensing, insurance, regulatory, or other consequential decision, users and third parties should consult the applicable official source and perform any independent verification appropriate to the decision.
Reminder and Notification Limitations
Email and SMS reminders are provided as optional organizational conveniences. Briely does not guarantee that any reminder, notification, alert, or communication will be generated, transmitted, delivered, received, opened, understood, or acted upon before a deadline.
Delivery may be affected by inaccurate contact information, account settings, disabled consent, carrier restrictions, spam or junk filtering, inbox rules, service-provider failures, internet outages, device settings, platform maintenance, or events beyond Briely's reasonable control.
You remain responsible for independently monitoring all expiration dates, renewal deadlines, compliance events, and required actions. Do not rely on Briely reminders as your only deadline-management method.
Public Verification Pages
Briely may allow a company owner to publish selected credential information through a public verification page. Information displayed on that page is based on records entered and maintained by the organization using Briely.
A public verification page does not mean that Briely has independently authenticated the credential, endorsed the person or organization, guaranteed current qualification, or confirmed suitability for a particular project, role, or legal requirement.
Account owners are responsible for deciding what information to publish, ensuring they have authority to publish it, keeping it current, and avoiding disclosure of sensitive or unnecessary personal information.
Audit and Report Limitations
Audit-ready records, exports, reports, summaries, and document collections generated through Briely are organizational outputs based on the information available in the account at the time they are created.
They do not constitute an independent audit, legal certification, regulatory approval, assurance engagement, or guarantee that an auditor, regulator, customer, insurer, employer, or contracting party will accept the records as sufficient.
Third-Party Services
Briely relies on third-party providers for services such as hosting, databases, storage, billing, email, and SMS delivery. These providers include services such as Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Google Workspace, and Twilio.
Briely does not control every third-party network, carrier, platform, service, or system. Interruptions, delays, filtering, changes, or failures involving those providers may affect Briely features.
References or links to third-party services do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of their availability, accuracy, security, suitability, or continued operation.
Industry and Educational Resources
Briely may publish guides, articles, comparisons, state pages, industry pages, videos, or other educational materials concerning credentials, licensing, verification, and compliance topics.
Requirements can change and may differ by state, locality, profession, employer, issuing organization, or individual circumstance. Educational content may not reflect the most recent rule or every exception.
Always confirm current requirements directly with the applicable government agency, licensing board, credential issuer, employer, regulator, or other authoritative source.
No Guarantee of Results
Briely does not guarantee that use of the platform will prevent missed renewals, expired credentials, penalties, failed audits, lost business, employment issues, contracting disputes, regulatory action, safety incidents, or other adverse outcomes.
We also do not guarantee customer acquisition, business growth, improved reputation, successful verification, or acceptance of records by any third party.
Service Provided As Available
Briely aims to provide a reliable service, but the platform may occasionally be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, incomplete, or affected by maintenance, upgrades, security work, outages, third-party failures, or events beyond our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Briely is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
Complete warranty terms and legally applicable exceptions are stated in the Terms of Service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Briely will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or anticipated savings arising out of or related to the use of or inability to use the platform.
The complete limitation of liability, applicable liability cap, exclusions, and exceptions are contained in the Terms of Service. If this Disclaimer conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.
Review the controlling agreement
The Terms of Service contain the complete warranty disclaimer, liability limitation, subscription terms, and dispute provisions.
