FOUNDER STORY

Why I Built Briely

Briely started from a simple idea: important licenses, certifications, and renewals should not be scattered across spreadsheets, calendars, emails, and memory.

I have always been heavily involved with cars, mechanics, racing, and the world around them. That world taught me how much real businesses rely on trust, documentation, safety, and people doing things the right way.

As I moved deeper into software, I kept seeing the same problem in different places: licenses, certifications, credentials, and renewal dates were being tracked manually.

Sometimes it was a spreadsheet. Sometimes it was a calendar reminder. Sometimes it was an email buried in an inbox. Sometimes it was just someone trying to remember.

The simple mission

Track Certifications. Never Miss A Renewal.

The problem I kept seeing

Certifications are easy to forget until they become urgent. A renewal date gets missed. A document is hard to find. A team member’s credential expires. A customer asks for proof, and suddenly everyone is searching through folders and inboxes.

That felt like a problem worth solving, especially for small teams, shops, trades, and individuals who need something simple instead of another complicated compliance platform.

Why Briely exists

Briely was built to help people track certifications, store important documents, monitor renewal dates, and prove credentials when needed.

Briely is still growing, but the mission is clear: make certification and license tracking easier for individuals, teams, shops, and businesses that want to stay organized without overcomplicating the process.

A note from Tyler

Briely connects where I came from and where I am going: cars, shops, certifications, trust, and software. That is what makes this company personal to me.
